The story behind it is just as special as the ring itself. Donna and David, in collaboration with Taylor's shaper Dennis Ryder and a local manufacturer, found an innovative way to repurpose excess resin left over from the surfboard-making process. Instead of letting it end up in a landfill, we transformed it into beautiful, durable jewelry.
Each color stripe in the resin comes from a surfboard made right here in California. The boards are out there riding waves—and now, each piece of jewelry is connected to that story. How cool is that?
This particular ring style is crafted from leftover scraps of our very first resin jewelry collection, giving it a second life in the most meaningful way.
