Student Made here in Ventura!
This rad bottle opener keychain is made by some of our local students for us via the Vision to Marketplace program, which has us working with local students, giving design and business guidance, and mentoring entrepreneurship.
DTech Incorporated is a Career Technical Education (CTE) "pathway" program at Foothill Technology High School in Ventura, California that specializes in the design, technology, and entrepreneurship. Their aim is to transform students into designers and small business owners with the skills to produce quality products and sell them on and off campus.
They use the profit from sales to sustain our program, pay student interns, and fund social entrepreneurship.
This pilot program introduces and teaches students about entrepreneurship, product design, development, and delivering products to market. Career Technical Education students go through the process of evaluating market demand, visioning, prototyping, manufacturing, marketing, and selling wholesale products to participating Downtown businesses for December holiday sales. Funds from the wholesale purchases go back into the participating CTE programs.
